As local organisers, we want everyone to come together and enjoy the conference, and also their time together attending.

Monday, 17 July

• Mini Forum – Informatics Forum, level 4
• Welcome reception
• We will have some whiskey available to sample, from the Whiskey Society, as well as other drinks and food will be available.

Wednesday, 19 July

We have arranged a tour of a local whiskey distillery Glenkinchie Distillery. Following the distillery tour, the coach will take everyone back into the centre of town and straight to the banquet dinner venue, Surgeons Hall.

There are many alternatives for anyone who would prefer not to go to the distillery:

• Royal Yacht Britannia
• Edinburgh Castle
• Palace of Holyrood House
• Camera Obscura
