  • Submission Instructions

Electronic submission is done through EasyChair. All papers should be prepared in LaTeX and formatted according to the requirements of Springer's LNCS series (the corresponding style files can be downloaded from here). By submitting a paper the authors agree that if it is accepted at least one of the authors will attend the conference to present it.

Submission is via EasyChair. The submission URL for CICM 2017 is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cicm2017.

Submissions to the tracks (Calculemus, DML, MKM, Systems and Projects) must not exceed 15 pages in the LNCS style and will be reviewed and evaluated with respect to relevance, clarity, quality, originality, and impact. Shorter papers are also very welcome. Papers primarily describing co-reviewed digital resources (e.g., system descriptions) should be limited to 5 pages. Authors will have an opportunity to respond to their papers' reviews before the programme committee makes a decision.

Details of the publication are to be determined. We currently plan that the accepted conference submissions from all tracks will be published as a volume in the series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) by Springer. In addition to these formal proceedings, authors are permitted and encouraged to publish the final versions of their papers on arXiv.org.

    Work-in-Progress

We invite work-in-progress submissions with the aim of providing a forum for the presentation of original work that is not yet in a suitable form for submission as a full paper for a research track. This includes work in progress and emerging trends. Their size is not limited, but we recommend 5 pages.

Work-in-Progress submissions are via Easychair in the "Work in Progress" track. Please add a keyword for the intended topical track MKM, DML, Calculemus or Systems and Projects.

The programme committee may offer authors of rejected formal submissions the opportunity to publish their contributions as work-in-progress papers instead. Depending on the number of work-in-progress papers accepted, they will be presented at the conference either as short talks or as posters. The work-in-progress proceedings will be published as a technical report, as well as online with CEUR-WS.org.

    Posters

In addition, we solicit for posters that will not be peer reviewed, but will be screened for relevance to the conference.
You can submit an abstract for a poster by 23 June 2017 via EasyChair at Easychair. Author notification will be sent by 27 June.
